NLC Stipends
The Virginia FBLA Foundation provides stipends to alleviate financial barriers and ensure equitable access to the transformative experience of attending the National Leadership Conference (NLC).By offering financial support for help offset registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodations, the Virginia FBLA Foundation enables deserving students to participate in cutting-edge workshops, competitions, and keynote sessions that foster personal and professional growth.

Leadership Grants
As part of Vision 2026, the Leadership Development Grants serve as a cornerstone in the mission to cultivate the next generation of adept leaders within local Virginia FBLA chapters. These grants are tailored to bolster leadership capabilities among FBLA members through targeted training, workshops, seminars, mentorship programs, skill-building activities, and other leadership development initiatives. FBLA chapters can foster a culture of leadership excellence, equipping students with the tools and confidence needed to navigate complex challenges and emerge as influential leaders in their communities and beyond.

- L. Marguerite Crumley Scholarships. Virginia FBLA has established two $1,000 scholarships that give recognition to outstanding leaders. The L. Marguerite Crumley Scholarship recognizes Miss Crumley, a former State Supervisor of Business Education, who was instrumental in organizing the Virginia State Chapter.
- Frank Manning Peele Scholarships. Two $1,000 scholarships have been established to honor Mr. Frank Peele who served as the FBLA Executive Secretary from 1970-1978.
- Virginia FBLA Foundation Sarah Lowe Thompson Scholarships. The Virginia FBLA Foundation has established scholarships to honor former Virginia FBLA State Specialist Sarah Lowe Thompson.
- Michael Mills Learn to Lead Scholarships. This scholarship encourages students to develop their leadership abilities through practical experience, personal reflection, and in the community with mentors and peers. These two $1,000 scholarships are named in honor of Michael Mills who served as the president of the Virginia FBLA Foundation for over 25 years.
