Our Impact
The mission of the Virginia FBLA Foundation, Inc., is to provide every eligible Virginia FBLA member with financial resources necessary to represent Virginia at national competitive events, in leadership development activities, and in the pursuit of further education.
Since the foundations inception in 1993, we have over $600,000 in contributions and distributed over $400,000. In addition, the Foundation Board of Directors continues to provide valuable support to students competing at the National Leadership Conference by reviewing projects, assisting in mock interviews, providing feedback, and instilling confidence.

Vision 2026
The Virginia FBLA Foundation will be the champion for Virginia Future Business Leaders of America members as demonstrated through contributions to scholarship, leadership and chapter development, and member/chapter engagement. The Virginia FBLA Foundation will achieve the vision through investing time, talent, and energy into the following actions:
Financial Support of Core Programs
Continue financial support of Virginia FBLA members and programs.
Leadership Development
Expand the organization’s leadership development opportunities in the three FBLA divisions.
Chapter Success
Create an initiative to identify and support the development and success of Virginia FBLA chapters.
Task Force Focus
Concentrate the organization’s efforts on specific task forces to address, create, and enhance the most critical projects as identified by the organization.
Campaigns & Contributions
Identify, seek, and petition financial contributions to support programs through targeted fundraising campaigns.

- Fund National Leadership Conference stipends
- Underwrite leadership development programs at state conferences
- Provide post-secondary education scholarships
Leadership Development
Expand the organization’s leadership development opportunities in the three FBLA divisions.
- Identify and enhance current leadership development program opportunities
- Create specific leadership strategies for FBLA Middle School, FBLA High School, and FBLA Collegiate
- Establish leadership development grants for local chapters, regional events, and state programs
Chapter Success
Create an initiative to identify and support the development and success of Virginia FBLA chapters.
- Educate chapter advisers and leaders on purpose and vision of the Virginia FBLA Foundation
- Provide human resources and grants for chapter success and engagement in regional and state programs
- Provide initial foundation contribution toward member status
Task Force Focus
Concentrate the organization’s efforts on specific task forces to address, create, and enhance the most critical projects as identified by the organization.
- Update the organization’s bylaws and membership structure to reflect future growth and opportunities
- Emphasize the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
- Create a revised branding strategy for the organization to foster consistency between national and state organization branding
